Your first session is all about understanding your problem. Your physiotherapist will ask questions about your symptoms, medical history, and how your condition affects your daily life. They will then carry out a physical assessment to look at how you move and identify the cause of your pain.
We then begin treatment and if appropriate provide you with home exercises to undertake before the next session.
You’ll leave with a clear explanation of the issue and a treatment plan tailored to you.

This depends on your condition, goals, and how your body responds to treatment. Some issues improve in just a few sessions, while others may require ongoing support.
